A delegation from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (UK) visited Malta for meetings with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Health Dr Chris Fearne. It was announced that from June 2019 examinations of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists will be taking place at the Mater Dei Hospital. These examinations are aimed for Medical Practitioners who would like to specialise in gynaecology.
The fact that these examinations will be taking place in Malta is beneficial to the local practitioners who will now be able to sit for these exams locally and also makes of Mater Dei Hospital and Malta an excellent Medical centre of repute.
